I will admit that I am a man with a problem. I live in Oklahoma and I love to make fun of the OU Football team. Love it like a crackhead loves the rock. But this year a friend of mine who is a true fan of the Sooners was very kind to me durning a potentially bad plumbing situation in my Death trap of an Apartment.
That Fan was Couch Pirate Scott.

In my mind a true fan of the Sooners is someone that sticks by the team through the good seasons and the bad. Quite a few will even turn on the team mid game if things look bad, but not Scott. I made him an offer that has now come to a moment of truth. Is this his season?

I offered him one season of no making fun of the Sooners. No Calls at the end of games should they lose, no chants of “tear your Quads!” every time the QB gets sacked. Even if Bob Stoops were to be caught at the Habana Inn with all the Ruf Neks in a Hot Tub….Nothing.

I even Gave him the 1st three games of the season to make his Desicion. Is this his season to not hear my cruel jack-assery towards his team or should he hang on to this golden ticket?

There was a point that I thought FOX could not come up with a better dating show. It was episode one of “The Littlest Bachelor” where a midget man tries to find a midget woman for some sweet midget lovin’. It was great TV, Who cares that they don’t have souls?

But then they surprised me with the next great dating reality show.

A Tubby man is seeking love from one of 15 Tubby women. This is a show that has crying every 5 minutes or your money back. (before you send me any hate mail I myself am a Fatty McFat Fat which means its ok for me to call other fat people Lard-O. Theys my peeps!)

If there is one thing I as a Man Of Fatness LOVE its Fat Asses that blame their unhappiness on their weight. This show has it in spades!! Whats sad is most of these gals are attractive but they can’t get past their own pitty parties long enough to see it. Instead they cry at random moments and complain about Skinny Bitches. If they don’t wrestle in gravy before the end of the season I will be so so sad. Watch it before the People for the Ethical Treatment of Fatties puts an end to this.

Daisy Of Love. Why God? Wasn’t the Swine Flu enough? You Flooded the Earth once, why not do it again rather than punish us this way? VH1 was never PBS but everything up to this point was like “Nova” or “Masterpiece Theater” compared to Daisy Of Love. Why isn’t Obama assuming control of this obviously desperate industry and supplying them with Stevie Nicks and Rod Stewart videos to replace this toxic investment? Then again its better than SHEdaisy…..

Hastings is the home of good stuff but I never thought it would yield a sweet golden nugget such as this!!!

Oh yes, 14 of the best 80’s-tastic prop comedy specials to ever hit television! For you youngsters out there Gallagher offered alot of whimsical looks at 80’s life but nobody really cared about that…it was the Sledge-O-Matic that kept me and everybody else coming back! He would smash all kinds of fruit, vegetables and appliances RIGHT THERE ON STAGE!!!! Nobody’s mom told him to cut it out and stop smashing stuff. In fact it  was what got that guy major applause. He was truly living the dream. The question is can I stay awake long enough to watch them all in 1 sitting…..

In This edition we enter the world of “Mail Order Zombie”!

If you’re like me you have walked out of the video store hoping that the zombie flick you just bought was worth your hard earned cash. Even in this age of web based movie rentals there are still some flicks that only make it to small distributor DVD houses. These low budget labours of love are alot like a minefield, sometimes you make it through them without getting hurt but you are never quite the same. I have always bought these things wishing that somebody would do reviews of them so that I could save a buck now and again. Well, in the words of the Pope John Paul “Let not your heart be troubled” because now somebody has. Mail Order Zombie is an amazing podcast filled with reviews of zombie films, zombie news and feedback from listeners. Brother D is your host and he goes to great lengths to keep you coming back for more with an intelligent and thoughtful look at movies that make most reviewers queasy. As a bonus his Non Zombie movie watching wife Bren comes in and gives her take on each weeks movies with an open mind and alot of really good points. 

The movies reviewed are mainly Direct to Video but modern movies get the love too. They have have a voicemail number set up so that folks can call in with their opinions. They even do short reviews of non zombie movies in seperate podcasts called “The Munchies”.  All in all I really like it because you can tell Brother D is truly a fan of zombie flicks and doesn’t make it a dump fest on low budget films, its a look at good stuff you might have missed because of a cheesy box cover or a name like Zombieggedon.  It’s 100% free so check it out on iTunes or their website http://mailorderzombie.libsyn.com/
